Anquan Boldin

Maybe this is the nostalgia talking, but who doesn’t want Anquan Boldin to come and end his career in Baltimore?

After signing with the Buffalo Bills this off-season, Boldin announced his retirement before he even suited up for the Bills. However, recent reports came about that Boldin is considering a return to the NFL and has gotten the blessing from the Bills organization to request a trade.

Interesting…

We all know what Boldin brings to the table. He is a big, strong, physical receiver. Even at 37-years old, the Ravens could kick the tires on the old man and see if he has anything left in the tank. What do you have to lose? The Ravens need receiver help in the worst way and Boldin already has chemistry with Joe Flacco and the Ravens brass. The absolute worst case scenario is the Ravens send the Bills a conditional draft pick and Boldin doesn’t perform up to the conditions, therefore having the trade essentially voided, as the team wouldn’t lose any draft picks.

This is a move we all want to see just for the sake of nostalgia. I, for one, would welcome back Boldin with open arms. And at this point, I think the Ravens would do about the same. Beggars can’t be choosers, but Boldin could still be a difference maker.
