3. Ravens secondary vs. Delanie Walker

Unless it’s the Patriots or an inefficient passing attack like the Ravens, you rarely see the tight end as heavily involved in the passing game. For the Titans, tight end Delanie Walker is that receiver. He’s the team’s second-leading receiver with 324 yards and will a primary concern for the Ravens secondary on Sunday.

Walker is a savvy veteran who’s one of the most talented tight ends in the league. He’s Marcus Mariota’s most trusted target and while he hasn’t gotten into the end zone yet this season, Walker has combined for 13 total touchdowns over the past two seasons. He’s a match-up problem for linebackers and especially a threat anytime the Titans get into the red zone.

The biggest key to this matchup come Sunday is health. Walker has been a limited participant in practice this week after suffering an ankle injury against the Browns in Week 7. He’s had a bye week to recover, but it still dealing with lingering effects. Walker’s official game status is questionable but expect him to play.

Tony Jefferson, Eric Weddle and the Ravens secondary as a unit need to keep a close eye on Walker. That means shadowing him in coverage as well as providing help over the top for C.J. Mosley and Patrick Onwuasor. Walker is due for a breakout game and the Ravens need to make sure that isn’t tomorrow.
