3. The Ravens should be able to run the ball

Baltimore should be able to run the ball against the middle of the road run defense that the Packers have. The Packers give up an average of 111 yards per game on the ground. The Ravens rush for 120.9 yards per game. I know I sound like a broken record, but the Ravens need to run the ball. When the purple and black stick to the ground game it works. When they go away from it the offense is about as efficient as a flat tire.

Alex Collins has been the best player on the field when the offense takes control of the football. It’s hard to look at this match-up and think anything but a heavy dose of Alex Collins. The Packers have capable pass rushers and the Ravens passing game isn’t good. Green Bay struggles in all areas on defense, including their pass defense. However the match-ups point to the Ravens running game.

This should be a game where the Ravens rush for over 100 yards and they get the win. The expectation in this game is a win, but the Ravens don’t make things easy. This is the kind of win the Ravens need to start collecting on a regular basis. They have the advantage on paper now we must see how it translates on the field.
