More from Ebony Bird

Anthony Levine Sr. is one of my favorite players the Baltimore Ravens have ever had. He’s done everything for the Ravens throughout his tenure. He’s played multiple positions on defense, he’s done special teams, and he’s in his sixth season. Levine isn’t a star, he is one of the hard working players that goes under the radar. He’s contributed two sacks this season and 17 tackles. Last night he gave the Ravens his biggest contribution. His interception of Tom Savage all but sealed the deal for the Baltimore Ravens.

On a night where the secondary had some struggles, Levine came away with a clutch interception. The Ravens were having a real time covering DeAndre Hopkins. The Ravens may have been facing a backup quarterback, but Hopkins was the equalizer. Hopkins brutalized Jimmy Smith all game long. It was a rare sight, but a receiver had the number of the Ravens’ top cornerback.

Thank You:

Levine’s interception put the Texans to bed. It eliminated the possibility of a superstar making the game tying touchdown. The Ravens defense had a solid evening, however things were rightfully tense before the pick.

On a personal note, I want to thank Mr. Levine. I had the Baltimore Ravens defense in my fantasy football league. If it weren’t for his interception, my 123.46-121.86 victory wouldn’t have happened. When you’re a guy trying to sneak into the playoffs of a 12 team league, you’ll take all the help you can get. I have to give the game ball to Levine because he deserves it and (I really needed that play to happen).
