BALTIMORE, MD – DECEMBER 23: Wide Receiver Chris Moore /

1. Chris Moore vs. William Jackson

Jeremy Maclin won’t suit up today which mean Chris Moore will be the No. 2 receiver behind Mike Wallace. Moore has been a special teams MVP all season and has shown flashes at receiver this season. With an increased snap count this week, Moore will look to have one of his best games in a time where the Ravens need it the most. He’ll come up against a Bengals secondary that’s allowing just 212.3 passing yards per game.

Second-year cornerback William Jackson will be one of the corners Moore matches up with today. He’s questionable to play with a knee injury but should be good to go. Jackson missed his entire rookie season with a torn pectoral muscle but has been fantastic for the Bengals this year. He’s allowing the lowest catch percentage this season among cornerbacks at just 36.6%. Not to mention, he hasn’t allowed a catch in the past two weeks.

Wallace is a bit banged up today with a knee injury and while the Ravens will focus heavily on the ground game, Moore will look to make his impact. Who knows what will happen with the receiving core next year but it’s time for Moore to make that next step, especially if the Ravens want to have success in the playoffs. Joe Flacco has played some of his best football in the past month and has a track record of continuing that into the postseason.
