3 Ravens that need to step up:

Marlon Humphrey:

The Ravens have to stop one of the best wide receivers in football and they don’t have their best cornerback. Jimmy Smith isn’t there to stop A.J. Green so the burden falls mostly on Marlon Humphrey. Humphrey has been impressive this season and this is slated to be his toughest test. Look for Humphrey to play physical and without fear. He’ll need help over the top but he’s a big and aggressive cornerback that could give Green trouble. If Humphrey is successful in this game, than nobody is allowed to complain about him being the first round pick.

Ben Watson:

With Jeremy Maclin not in the game, Ben Watson has to step up. When you look at it logistically, the Ravens don’t have a lot of people to turn to who can catch a football. It’s Mike Wallace and everybody else. It’s nice that Chris Moore and Michael Campanaro have increased their productivity in recent weeks, but the Ravens cannot count on them. Watson needs to be a player that gets open and makes some plays. He has the athletic ability to create mismatches and his quarterback is feeling it right now. Watson has to step up.

Ryan Jensen:

The Bengals defensive line is fierce and Geno Atkins is a big reason for that. Atkins is one of the best interior defensive linemen in the league. He can put constant pressure, right in the middle of the pocket, on Flacco. Atkins has nine sacks on the year and it’s up to Jensen to make sure that number doesn’t get higher.
