4. D.J. Moore

The Ravens regrettably passed on Stefon Diggs but you can bet they’ll be taking a hard look at D.J. Moore. Drafting Torrey Smith worked wonders for the passing attack and he’s the last real productive receiver the Ravens selected. Given Moore‘s production during his junior season at Maryland and the lack of injury history, he could very well land in the late first or early second round.

Moore was a standout receiver on a Terripans’ team that finished just 4-8 under D.J. Durkin. That’s an impressive feat to reach given Maryland’s quarterback situation. Injuries forced third-strong sophomore Max Bortenschlager to step in as the team’s starter for most of the season. Yet, Moore amassed 1,033 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on the season. He also showed off flashes as a punt returner with limited opportunities.

Moore is an electric talent. His speed is going to be fun to watch in a number of ways. It will be even more of a benefit having real quarterbacks throw him the ball in wide receiver drills. Moore is a sleeper in an interesting group of wide receivers. With the depth of the class falling on day two, he could see his stock rise with an impressive combine performance.
