2. A restored offensive line (with or without Ryan Jensen)

Let’s just assume the Ravens lose Ryan Jensen in free agency. The offensive line could still be dominant. While I encourage all of you to knock on wood when you read this, the Ravens offensive line should be much healthier than it was last season. It would look like the following:

More from Ebony Bird

  • Ronnie Stanley -Left Tackle
  • Alex Lewis-Left Guard
  • Matt Skura – Center
  • Marshall Yanda- Right Guard
  • Austin Howard – Right Tackle

Last season Ronnie Stanley proved to be a leader on the offensive line. He was the most consistent Raven up front. However next season the Ravens should have a healthy Marshall Yanda. Yanda is the alpha male of the offensive line. He is the rock of the Ravens’ offense. With him and Stanley setting the example the offensive line could be out of this world good.

I think one thing that got underplayed this past season was how much the Ravens missed Alex Lewis. Lewis is a really good offensive lineman who can play guard and tackle. Lewis could end up being the next great lineman for the Ravens. That leaves the Ravens with two great players in Stanley and Yanda. They have a promising young stud in Lewis and two servicable players in Skura and Howard. Give Joe Flacco receivers and you can sign me up to watch this offensive line go to work any time.
