Baltimore Ravens: Early 7 Round Mock Draft
Round 2: Leighton Vander Esch, ILB, Boise State
Another Boise State linebacker in the second round, I know the thought sends shivers down your spine, but unlike Kamelei Correa, Vander Esch is a natural inside linebacker. The Bronco linebacker is one of the best athletes at the position and attacks opposite players like a heat seeking missile. It was hard not to go offense back to back early, but it was painfully evident that CJ Mosley needs a competent running mate to make his life easier. Mosley struggled covering the tight end last year and Vander Esch is athletic enough to be a good coverage linebacker. There were a few impact guards available with this pick, but with Alex Lewis and Marshall Yanda coming back next year it was too good to be true not to go with this stud linebacker.

Round 3- Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma
I’m not going to lie to you, I love watching Mark Andrew’s tape. The dude isn’t going to be the fastest guy on the field or jump the highest but he just knows how to get open. If you watch Baker Mayfield’s highlights, chances are he’s throwing to Andrews. He is a great route runner and has terrific body control, to me he is a baby Gronk. They have so many similarities when it comes to how they produce for their teams, Andrews could be a red zone beast.
