Baltimore Ravens: Early 7 Round Mock Draft
Round 4- Daesean Hamilton, WR, Penn State
Another weapon for Joe Flacco and the offense. Potentially losing Mike Wallace, Mike Campanaro, and maybe even cutting Jeremy Maclin, the Ravens are going to be in need of a playmaker at the receiver position. Hamilton is one of the best route runners in the class, but lacks top shelf speed to make him a legit number one option. Luckily the Ravens already drafted a number one receiver with Calvin Ridley in the first round. Hamilton would provide an excellent option in the slot with his combination of excellent route running and strong hands. If the Ravens are able to trade for Jarvis Landry this pick becomes a little unnecessary, but Hamilton would provide a “Landry lite” if they are unable to secure a trade for the Dolphins star wide receiver.

Round 5- Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona State
Kalen Ballage was criminally underused at Arizona State this past year. This is a running back who had eight touchdowns in one game back in 2016. Ballage is absolutely huge at 6’3″ and 230 pounds and is a great receiving back. He wont ever show the vision to be a lead back, but is an excellent option for Marty Mornhinweg’s checkdown offense. The former Sundevil also was a good returner which could prove to be useful if Mike Campanaro is not retained.
Players Drafted After:
- Bo Scarbrough, RB, Alabama
- DJ Reed, CB, Kansas State
- Adam Breneman, TE, UMass
