Steelers Free Agency Primer:

We asked the FanSided site for the Steelers stillcurtain.com for a few names to look out for when it comes to the Steelers. While they didn’t give us analysis, they did send us four names. With that in mind here is my analysis on the four targets that Still Curtain provided: Eric Reid, Tre Boston, Morgan Burnett and Tamba Hali.

It’s not hard to figure out what they want over at Still Curtain three of the four names they mentioned are safeties. Pittsburgh needs to get better in the back end of their defense. I am a little surprised that the only linebacker they mentioned is an aging pass rusher like Hali. If he can come at an affordable price, Hali could provide some pass rush for the Steelers in a James Harrison kind of role.

I would expect linebackers to be in play for the Steelers, given that Ryan Shazier won’t play in 2018. While the football world is collectively hoping for Shazier’s full recovery, the Steelers need somebody to help their run defense. Navarro Bowman is a player that would make sense for the Steelers.
