As part of the annual schedule leaks, the Baltimore Ravens will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 15.
Tonight’s official NFL schedule release is set for 8 pm but games have slowly been leaked out throughout the day. Teams like the New England Patriots and New York Jets already know their entire 16-game schedule thanks to word of mouth.
For the Baltimore Ravens, it’s been fairly quiet over in Owings Mills, but we do know the date of at least one matchup so far thanks to leaks from an opponent.
The Buccaneers’ entire 16-game schedule has been leaked and they will travel to Baltimore in Week 15 to face the Ravens.
The Ravens will face the entire AFC South division this season, doing themselves no favors.
The two sides have seldom met, with the Ravens holding a 3-2 all-time series lead. The last matchup came back in the 2014 season. The Ravens absolutely trounced the Buccaneers on the road by the score of 48-17. Joe Flacco tossed five first-half touchdowns in the blowout win en route to a career year.
Both teams are coming off disappointing 2017 seasons after failing to make the playoffs. The Ravens will have their hands full against Jameis Winston and the likes of Mike Evans. Winston has been prone to the turnover game in his first three seasons, which bodes well for a league-leading turnover defense.
If the cards are played right, it’s likely this game could have postseason implications on both sides late in the season.
But most importantly, center Ryan Jensen will make his first return back to Baltimore after signing a monster free agent deal with the Buccaneers.
