2. Jordan Lasley

Who would have ever thought that the Ravens would have too many options at wide receiver to make the roster math easy at the position? Last year the Ravens were desperate at wide receiver. After bringing in Michael Crabtree, Willie Snead, John Brown, Jaleel Scott and Jordan Lasley, the receiver room is all the sudden crowded. With Breshad Perriman’s departure seeming more and more likely by the day, the position battle is in full throttle.

Lasley has a chance to be the diamond in the rough that becomes a star. He has all the markings of a good receiver. He has a good 6’1″ frame, he’s a quick route runner and he is dangerous once he has the ball. Lasley had a 14 yard reception in the first game and hopefully he gets more chances against the Rams. Lasley has potential that makes his draft position laughable and if he displays it tonight it will be huge for him.

The Ravens have been very excited about young wide receivers in the past that did nothing to standout at the position. The Ravens have four spots on the roster basically locked up with Crabtree, Snead, Brown and Moore. That means Lasley has to compete with Scott, Perriman, Tim White and Janorion Grant to make the roster. Lasley has the most potential. He could be the Ravens surprise star. He has to show up in the preseason to make sure he gets a roster spot.
