Offense

Quarterback

  • Joe Flacco
  • Robert Griffin III
  • Lamar Jackson

The only way I see the Ravens parting with Robert Griffin III is if he gets traded. That’s something that is a real possibility, but the Ravens probably want to keep Griffin III. Lamar Jackson has shown potential this preseason and a lot of growth along the way. It would be tough to say that he’s ready though, so Griffin III is a needed backup.

Running Back:

More from Ebony Bird

  • Alex Collins
  • Buck Allen
  • Kenneth Dixon

There is a really good argument for expanded rosters in the Ravens running back situation. If the Ravens could keep Gus Edwards and De’Lance Turner around they would. In the end it was always going to be this trio on the Ravens 53 man roster on opening day.

Wide Receiver:

  • Michael Crabtree
  • John Brown
  • Willie Snead
  • Chris Moore
  • Jordan Lasley
  • Janarion Grant

This one was a tough call. Lasley has potential and he is the most likely receiver to get scooped up off the practice squad. Janarion Grant is the best option at punt returner as long as he proves he can be relied upon on a regular basis. The first four were locks no matter what so Lasley and Grant grabbed the last two spots.

Tight End:

  • Hayden Hurst
  • Mark Andrews
  • Nick Boyle
  • Maxx Williams

The fourth tight end spot is one that the Ravens could go a few different ways with. The conversation wouldn’t be very relevant if Hayden Hurst wasn’t recovering from a stress fracture in his foot. At the end of the day, I went with Williams because he is at a minimum a big bodied weapon in the passing game.

Offensive Line:

  • Ronnie Stanley
  • James Hurst
  • Matt Skura
  • Marshal Yanda
  • Alex Lewis
  • Orlando Brown Jr.
  • Bradley Bozeman
  • Jermaine Eluemunor
  • Nico Siragusa

Bradley Bozeman took the preseason snaps and earned a roster spot with them. The Ravens are keeping nine offensive linemen in this projection. With injury concerns along the offensive line, this is a sensible place for Baltimore to splurge. The Ravens can use all the offensive linemen they can get and it’s too early to give up on players like Eluemunor and Siragusa.
