3) Special Teams is as Strong as ever

Ah, good ‘ol reliable Mr. Automatic. Ravens fans really don’t know how spoiled they are to have a kicker like Justin Tucker. Tucker came in and nailed a 55 Yard Field Goal in the 3rd quarter to cut the Bengals lead to 11, like it was nobody’s business.

To go along with the best kicker in the NFL, the Ravens also have veteran Sam Koch, in his 13th season, sending 60 Yard bombs down the field. Koch punted 3 times and averaged 56.3 Yards per punt, and being able to switch field position like that is a nice weapon to have in your back pocket if you’re John Harbaugh.

Janarion Grant took control of the return duties for the second week in a row, and had a 32 yard kick off return to spark the Ravens as well.

Special Teams is so often overlooked until you need a 40 Yard field goal to win a game, or a shanked punt costs you great field position. Luckily, the Ravens don’t have that problem and can sit comfortably knowing they have the most talented and consistent Special Teams unit in the NFL.
