A 7-6 Baltimore Ravens team may seem underwhelming, but they remain a sleeping giant that could legitimately make a Super Bowl LIII run.
The Baltimore Ravens are truly a slept on commodity in the AFC. The Ravens are very quietly in the running for a division title, while also hosting a roster that in its entirety is much better than given credit for. Which has given us a reason to ask the following question: Why not us?

Why not us? Why can’t the Baltimore Ravens make a 2018 playoff run and make it to, and perhaps win, the Super Bowl? I don’t see any legitimate reasons that they firmly cannot. Of course, the odds will be stacked against Baltimore, but the odds are stacked for a majority of the teams in the NFL.
People don’t seem to comprehend that regardless of the top-heavy favorites such as the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, and New Orleans Saints that there remains a lot of talented squads primed for a post-season run. The NFL has as much parity as it has in recent years.
As for the Baltimore Ravens, the media is failing to see how competitive every week the team is. They are taking some great teams down to the wire. The Ravens have lost to the Saints and the Chiefs by a combined four-points. While I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve had my fair share of criticisms and pessimism, this Baltimore team is better than we think. And soon, more and more people will come to the same realization.
As for the team’s playoff hopes, the Ravens are inching closer and closer to locking themselves in for the first time since 2014. Once there, anything is possible for Baltimore. But should the team be considered Super Bowl contenders? Absolutely, and here’s five reasons why you should agree:
