Orlando Brown Jr. vs. Jason Pierre-Paul:

Jason Pierre-Paul has long been known as one of the NFL’s best pass rushers. Even after a horrific fireworks accident back in 2015, “JPP” has continuously found a way to be a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks. Pierre-Paul has 11.5 sacks on the season in his first year with the Buccaneers and has played at a Pro Bowl level all season long. Stopping Pierre-Paul will be extremely difficult for the Ravens, but not impossible.

Remember back during the 2018 NFL Draft Combine where former Oklahoma Sooners’ offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr looked like he was on pace to be a bust? After all, his horrific and historically bad combine made all of his question his ability to be a starting quality offensive lineman. Turns out, workout numbers don’t make the player, and Brown Jr has been a mainstay on the Ravens offensive line in 2018.

Must Read. Lamar Jackson needs to step up big against the Buccaneers. light

One of the young man’s biggest tests of his young Ravens career will come vs. the Buccaneers and “JPP”. The brute strength that Brown Jr. possesses will go up against Pierre-Paul’s athleticism and explosiveness. “JPP” has certainly lost a step since his early days, but he’ll be a handful for Brown Jr. to hold-off.

If Baltimore plans on beating the Buccaneers, they’ll need to give Lamar Jackson a proper pocket so he can tear apart a very bad Tampa Bay defense. Since Pierre-Paul is the Buccaneers best edge rusher, and lines up on the right side of the line, it’ll be on Brown Jr, not Ronnie Stanley to slow him down.
