2. The ultimate trap game:

The Baltimore Ravens have seen everything line up for them. They needed the Pittsburgh Steelers to lose to the New Orleans Saints and it happened. When the Ravens were 4-5 and going into the bye week the season felt like it was all but over. The Ravens have been red hot. Their only loss has been to the Kansas City Chiefs, and that game could have easily gone the other way. The Ravens are moving up in power rankings and getting a ton of respect. The most important thing for the Ravens is to stay focused on the moment. None of the Ravens thrilling accomplishments mean a thing, without a win over the Browns.

The Browns can’t make the playoffs, but they are probably the hungriest 7-7-1 team you will ever see. Last season the Browns were 0-16. In the 2016 season Cleveland walked away with just one win. While the Browns don’t really want to help the Pittsburgh Steelers, you know a Mayfield led team will be motivated to ruin the party in Baltimore.

To make matters worse, the Ravens have a history of blowing chances to get into the postseason. In 2016, they lost a heart breaker in Pittsburgh in the most heartbreaking fashion. Last year, the Ravens had control of their destiny and lost to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Ravens have been in this situation before. The Ravens have been right on the cusp of a playoff appearance, only to make New Year’s Day a sad one in Maryland. The Ravens know that this moment can go wrong, and they have to make sure it doesn’t.
