The Bad:

The Ravens defense gave up way too many big plays in this game. For the most part, the Browns couldn’t move the football in the first half. Mayfield got the bulk of his yards on big plays. It had to be at least a little bit demoralizing to Baltimore to see Breshad Perriman, a former Ravens’ 1st round pick, make plays for the Browns.

More from Ebony Bird

Perriman scored a touchdown and had 45 yards on three receptions. Perriman had some good moments with the Ravens but they were few and far between. Perriman’s Ravens career will be remembered for the long wait to see him play and the never ending case of the drops; while it looks like Perriman could have a bright future with the Browns.

The Ravens had a very hard time covering Jarvis Landry. Landry had 102 yards and it could have been a lot worse. Landry was wide open on a play down the field where a pass hit him in the facemask. David Njoku, Antonio Callaway and Rashard Higgins all had big plays in this game. The Ravens pass defense wasn’t all that bad throughout most of the game; in fact their pass rush was quite effective at times. The problem is that the Ravens just gave up too many big plays. If the Browns had won the game, they would have been the plays that defined the game.
