3. Flacco wins in Heinz Field one last time:

In 2011, Flacco had a signature moment against the Steelers. He drove 92 yards and silenced the Steelers’ crowd to get a win. In 2014, Flacco won a playoff game in Pittsburgh. Flacco won six games in Pittsburgh and the Ravens went the Ravens have an 11-9 record against their arch rival since 2010. The point is that the Ravens seasons were often decided by how well they managed against the Steelers and Flacco’s most pivotal career moments were in this rivalry. The week 4 battle ended up being Flacco’s last game in Pittsburgh with the Ravens, making the 26-14 win even more meaningful.

Flacco had one of his best showings ever in this game. He completed 28 out of 42 passes for 363 yards and 2 touchdowns. One of the coolest moments from this game was a trick play called up by Marty Mornhinweg. Maxx Williams lined up among the offensive line and ran a route for a completed pass. It picked up a huge first down. John Brown had three receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown.

The most incredible part of this game was the defense. With an exception of the Steelers 14 point second quarter, the Ravens defense shut them out. Ben Roethlisberger was held under 300 passing yards and Pittsburgh ran for 19 yards in the contest. Anthony Levine Sr. sealed the game with an interception. It was a great day for the purple and black. They got some vengeance in a building that brought them heartbreak in the past two seasons.
