Le’Veon Bell:

This is something I have already written about, so I’ll try to add fresh arguments to the fire. Le’Veon Bell is one of the best running backs in football. If the Ravens were to make a deal with Bell his talent could translate into a good situation. In my previous article, I mentioned that he wasn’t a system fit and that he was the most expensive solution to a position that may not even be a problem. Today I’m going to add to my argument by highlighting the positions that make more sense to attack.

The Ravens need the following: offensive linemen, a ball hawk free safety, wide receivers. These are the three biggest needs for the purple and black. The offensive line is a place where DeCosta would be wise to put some money into. Instead of bringing in Bell, the Ravens could sign Matt Paradis and Roger Saffold. If the Ravens did this they would have an offensive line that could be dominant. Instead of signing Bell, the Ravens could bring in Lamarcus Joyner and bring back Za’Darius Smith. Maybe the Ravens could sign a player like Randall Cobb or Golden Tate.

If you’re into signing Bell, you’re into making a splash. The best advice for the Ravens would be to make the right splash. Bell is a good player, but he’s a very patient runner. The Ravens need a downhill running back. Bell is much better than Alex Collins can even dream to be, but he may have the same problem. Bell might dance around too much. DeCosta should focus on other play-makers or the offensive line.
