2. Willie Snead:

There are few receivers more underrated than Willie Snead. Snead is a reliable pass catcher who has a knack for getting open. He’s not the most explosive receiver and he’s surely not a superstar, but every team could use a player like Snead. He had 62 receptions last season. He’s the rare member of the Ravens passing game whose production stayed relatively the same after Lamar Jackson and the run heavy offense became the Ravens MO. Snead is a very important piece to the puzzle because he is a quarterback friendly target for Jackson.

More from Ebony Bird

Snead has had 60 or more receptions in three of his four seasons in the NFL. The Ravens actually benefited from his wasted 2017 season with the Saints. Snead’s talent never slipped away but the New Orleans Saints let him move on. Snead had nine games in 2018 where he had five or more receptions. Snead is the type of receiver who can make plays with a Joe Flacco and a player like Jackson. It doesn’t matter who is throwing him the ball, he’s a good route runner. He’s good at his craft.

Everybody is talking about Marquise Brown and Miles Boykin, yet Snead could easily lead the team in receptions. He’s not a Pro Bowl wide receiver. He’s not the flashiest receiver. Snead is a reliable receiver who might just be the go to weapon of this offense. Snead is an under the radar weapon that the Ravens Flock shouldn’t forget about.
