3. Be the best play-maker on the team:

Reaching the goal of 50 receptions would give Brown some serious numbers. He averaged 18.3 yards per reception at Oklahoma. Brown isn’t a player who catches a short pass and picks up 10 yards. Brown is a player that can take a short pass for a big chunk of yards. Brown is a player that can beat the defense deep as well. If Brown is healthy, he is going to be a play-maker. The Ravens need him to be one of the top play-makers on the offense.

Brown needs to become a go to weapon and an all around receiver. He can’t be type cast as a deep threat. Brown needs to be encouraged to do it all at the NFL level. Many people think the Ravens found the next DeSean Jackson. That would be amazing. Do you know what would be even better? If he became the next Antonio Brown. The Ravens haven’t had a star wide receiver that was an absolute game changer. That needs to change with Brown.

dark. Next. Will Matt Judon get his big pay day with the Ravens?

Ultimately it boils down to Brown shooting to be the best receiver the Ravens ever drafted. It’s not that high of a bar. Essentially, it just means that Brown has to be better than Torrey Smith. That’s not a knock on Smith, who is one of the most beloved Ravens of all-time. It’s just noting the obvious that Brown has to be a true number one wide receiver and he needs to show flashes of that as soon as he can.
