3. Be the reason the Ravens win a playoff game

When the Ravens put in Lamar Jackson, they started winning games. Jackson’s run in the back half of the season was very impressive yet he didn’t make believers out of everybody. Many pointed to the great defense and the performance of the overall running game as the main reasons for the Ravens success. Baltimore played a ground and pound style and the number one defense in the league dominated. Time of possession was the biggest key. These arguments from Jackson’s doubters can go away by this time next year.

Jackson has to do what every good quarterback in the league is asked to do. He has to lead the team to the playoffs and he has to be the biggest reason for it. Jackson has the ability to operate one of the most exciting offenses the Ravens have ever had. Jackson has a chance to have a huge impact on every game. Jackson is the one player in the NFL who can turn any play into a long touchdown pass or a long touchdown run. This is a young quarterback who has a chance to do everything that he has been told he can’t do.

Just about every sportswriter, fan and follower of the game would agree that the season hinges on Jackson’s ability to operate as a starting quarterback. His performance is so important to the fate of the 2019 Ravens. The number one goal for Jackson is to be a winner. The goal here is to propel the purple and black to wins. The Ravens are going to have a good defense and a good running game. However if everything hinges on Jackson, a trip to the playoffs and a playoff win would prove that Jackson is right where he should be. Jackson’s goals boil down to one thought; he has to prove that he’s the franchise quarterback of the moment and the future.
