BALTIMORE, MD – OCTOBER 21: Tight End Mark Andrews #89 of the Baltimore Ravens celebrates with tight end Nick Boyle #86 after scoring a touchdown in the third quarter against the New Orleans Saints at M&T Bank Stadium on October 21, 2018 in Baltimore, Maryland. 3. Score his first touchdown:

Boyle has played in 48 games. He’s caught the football 75 times. The one thing he’s never done is hold the football in the end zone. The Ravens have to get Nick Boyle his first touchdown. It’s almost hard to believe that Boyle hasn’t scored a touchdown. He’s come close a couple of times yet the first touchdown still eludes him. This is a goal that he has to be really eager to achieve. If Mike Vrabel (a former New England Patriots linebacker) can have 10 career touchdown receptions, Boyle can have one.

It would be so easy for the Ravens to help Boyle get in the end zone. If they’re at the one yard line it just takes a little play-action pass from Lamar Jackson and Boyle would probably be wide open in the end zone. With Jackson rolling out by the goal line, who on earth would be focused on Boyle? The Ravens should put Boyle in a situation where he can get a touchdown. He has the skill to get the job done and Andrews can have the rest of the celebrations. Just give Boyle that one perfect moment where he scores six for Baltimore.

These are three goals that are potentially within Boyle’s reach. The first goal is the most important thing. Boyle’s focus should be on blocking better than any tight end in the game. That doesn’t mean he shouldn’t have some fun in the passing game. To get the most out of Boyle, the Ravens should utilize all of his talents a little more.
