Breaking down this 53-man roster prediction was more difficult than I had imagined, so I can’t begin to believe how tough it is for the front office. As you can see one of the most notable players to make my roster is cornerback Tavon Young. I know the team had announced Young will possibly miss the rest of the season due to a neck injury, but something about it is a bit fishy to me. Usually, when a player is announced that they will be out the rest of the season the team acts quickly and places them on injured reserve or something but that has yet to happen with Young. In my opinion, Tavon Young is going to make the initial 53-man roster but will be put on IR-designated to return as soon as the roster is made official and Zach Zieler will take his spot on the roster.

As for the offense, I have the Ravens keeping six wide receivers with Jaleel Scott making the cut after his inspiring second season. The difference between 2018 Jaleel Scott and 2019 Jaleel Scott is night and day. Scott put quite a bit of muscle on, improved his route running, and seems a heck of a lot more confident in his abilities than he was last season. Last year it seemed as if Scott didn’t know how to use his size to his advantage and played as if the stage was too big for him, but I think the front office saw his potential and sticking with him paid off.

Next. Ravens who helped themselves against the Redskins. dark

Trace McSorley was one of the toughest decisions for me to make but I have to believe the Ravens drafted him for a specific reason and although he started off slow in the first two preseason games he ended pretty solid. Greg Roman never used him anywhere besides quarterback in the preseason, but I believe that’s because they didn’t want to show their hand. McSorley makes this offense even more dynamic than it already is and placing him on the practice squad is out of question after his week 3 showing.
