Cleveland Browns:

The hype around the Cleveland Browns only intensifies by each passing week. Of course, the hype is certainly warranted thanks to a dynamic roster and stellar play throughout the preseason. The Browns still have their warts, but one can’t deny how god this team might just be. The AFC North is on lookout right now.

This Cleveland Browns defensive line looks NASTY, in all the right ways. The trade for Olivier Vernon is already paying its dividends, as he is absolutely obliterating opposing offensive lines. Of course, his job is made easier thanks to his partner in crime, Myles Garrett. Garrett has a real shot to lead the NFL in sacks this season and should be considered a favorite for the league’s Defensive Player of the Year award.

Cleveland continues to load their team up offensively after trading for wide receiver Taywan Taylor; formerly of the Tennessee Titans. Taylor won’t record 1,000-yards with the Browns, but he makes their receiving core deeper while the team waits for Antonio Callaway’s suspension to end.

One of the best stories of the off-season was that of Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi. Incase you’re unaware of who he is, DSG has an absolutely awesome story you can read more about here. The reader’s digest version of his story is that he lied to get a tryout with the Browns and made it through the preseason with sensation play.

Unfortunately, Sheehy-Guiseppi was ultimately cut from Cleveland during the trimming down to the final 53-man roster. His NFL career might not be over yet, and we’ll be hoping to see him continue his career.

The Browns preseason was a fun one to watch, and we’ll be looking forward to seeing if they can take their successes into the regular season and shake up the AFC North.
