Baltimore Ravens thrash Miami Dolphins: 3 game balls

Marquise Brown:
Welcome to the NFL, rookie! Or rather, please welcome Marquise Brown to the NFL, fans everywhere!
To say that “Hollywood” Brown put on a spectacle would be a massive understatement. Brown’s first two NFL receptions went for 47-yards and 83-yards respectively for touchdowns. That’s pretty special, in case you were wondering. On the day, Brown notched four receptions for 147-yards and two touchdowns.

What was so impressive about Brown’s debut was that he did what he did after recovering from off-season foot surgery. It was debated all season long as to whether or not he’d even be ready to play week one for the Baltimore Ravens. Once again, many panned Brown as yet another bust at wide receiver for the Ravens. Boy, oh boy… looks like they might be wrong about that one.
For someone who had surgery in the off-season, it’s pretty crazy how healthy he looked. You’d never know that he was recovering from something like that based off how he played. Oh yeah, and he played fast.
On his touchdown plays, “Hollywood” Brown was torching defenders. His 83-yard touchdown reception was a thing of beauty, as he took Miami deep and beat them with his speed. It was a highlight that the NFL social media pages had to be salivating over.
The age old saying still rings true: speed kills. But beyond that, Marquise Brown showed off a ton of potential for the Baltimore Ravens and we can’t wait to see him moving forward.
