Despite a deep secondary, the Baltimore Ravens need reinforcements after some crucial injuries, and Minkah Fitzpatrick of the Miami Dolphins seems perfect.

A secondary featuring the likes of Marlon Humphrey, Earl Thomas, Tony Jefferson, etc. couldn’t possibly need more help, could it? Well, when you have some key injuries to starters like Jimmy Smith and Tavon Young it sure wouldn’t hurt. Insert Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick, a first round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Alabama, has reportedly asked to be traded from the Miami Dolphins following the team’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens, 59-10. No one likes losing, and Minkah Fitzpatrick sure isn’t used to that after winning two National Championships with the Alabama Crimson Tide. The former 11th overall pick found instant success at the NFL level, having many believe that he’s destined for greatness. Unfortunately for Dolphins fans, that greatness will likely be somewhere else.

Yes, the team is STACKED in the secondary and snaps would be hard to come by, but this moce is all about the future. For one, Jimmy Smith is a free agent after this season, and Brandon Carr and Tony Jefferson won’t be far behind. Fitzpatrick gives Baltimore a success plan for all of them thanks to his versatility. He’d immediately be the best chess piece they have in the secondary and would be a staple for years to come…
