4. Matt Judon:

One of the keys to the Ravens getting the kind of record they are hoping for, is that the pass rush shows up at some point. This season isn’t shaping up the way Judon hoped it would. He has three sacks this season (about equal to his penalties) and he hasn’t had a sack in the past two games. There has been no game this season where he got the quarterback to the ground more than once and he only has 19 tackles on the season. He hasn’t exactly been a difference maker. The Bengals have an offensive line that isn’t good when it’s healthy and injuries could be a big problem for them this week. Judon kind of has to show up in this game, right?

Judon hasn’t been as impressive as Baltimore would have hoped for however he is their most talented outside linebacker. This is a chance for him to win a favorable match up against a bad offensive line. The sacks and quarterback pressures have to come in this game. Expect Judon to show up for this one. Judon has had 15 sacks in the past two seasons and this was supposed to be a breakout year for him. If Judon is going to step up from being a good player to a great player, this is the type of game he should flat-out dominate.

He should have his first multi-sack game of the season. It may leave us wondering if he can keep up that level of performance, yet it will be welcome sight. The defense needs pass rush to be generated more from their outside linebackers. Baltimore is begging for a chance to do the Seven Nation Army chant after quarterback sacks. Judon should deliver in this game.
