3. Getting back to Marquise Brown:

The Baltimore Ravens haven’t been getting their wide receivers involved in the offense and that’s a problem. The Ravens need the threat of Marquise Brown’s speed to make a difference for them when they play good teams in the postseason. Brown has been a non factor in the last two games. He had two touchdowns against the Rams but he hasn’t had a 100 yard game since the season opener. Brown is a big play weapon, not making big plays.

The Ravens tend to be at their best when Brown gets involved. Brown’s two touchdowns against the Rams were part of a 45-6 shellacking. When the Ravens beat the Bengals 49-13, Brown had four catches for 80 yards and a touchdown. He only had three catches against the Patriots yet his presence made a difference in the game. The Ravens have to make defenses worry about Brown. Jackson’s comfort zone seems to be throwing the ball to the tight ends, Brown needs to reestablish himself as Jackson’s go to wide receiver.

Next. 3 things to focus on after tight win against the Bills. dark

The purple and black have looked good on the defensive side of the football. For the first time this season it is the offense that needs to re-find themselves. Brown needs to be a part of the equation for the Ravens to be their best possible selves. The Ravens obviously want to get a win against the Jets, and they should expect to get it. Most importantly, the Ravens need to walk out of this game knowing that they are ready to go back on another steamroll through their competition.
