The Baltimore Ravens don’t have a game today. They got their game out of the way on Thursday, beating the Jets 42-21. Here is what Ravens fans should be watching this Sunday:

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs:

The Baltimore Ravens have already won the AFC North and they control their own destiny. The Ravens Flock really just needs to root for the easiest path towards the number one seed at the moment. The Ravens don’t have one of the top two spots locked in yet. The Kansas City Chiefs are 9-4 so that makes their best possible record 12-4. If the Chiefs lose to the Broncos, the Ravens are assured a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

This game is important to the playoff picture and it’s also one of the more entertaining games on the schedule this Sunday. Drew Lock has given Denver a reason to be hopeful. The Broncos are playing to build towards the future and if Lock is their guy, they all the sudden have one to look forward to. The Chiefs are a team that has beaten the Ravens twice since Lamar Jackson has become the starting quarterback. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are probably the last team the Flock wants to see in Baltimore. Studying the Chiefs today could be a good idea for the Ravens.

New England Patriots vs. Cincinnati Bengals:

If the Patriots and Chiefs lose, the Ravens clinch the number one spot in the AFC playoffs. Don’t get your hopes up here. The Ravens have a very good chance of earning the top seed, yet it probably won’t be given to them by the Cincinnati Bengals knocking off the Patriots. This game is however interesting. The Patriots have been playing poorly on offense in the past two weeks.

The Bengals have been playing better (which isn’t a high bar) and this game could conceivably be competitive. It may seem counter intuitive to root for the Bengals, yet it would be great. Remember the Patriots have three losses and one of the L’s came to the Baltimore Ravens. If the Patriots lose, it means the Ravens have a little more breathing room. If the Ravens are interested in resting some of their key starters before the postseason, this is the game to tune into.

Buffalo Bills vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Ravens may already have the AFC North, but Ravens fans still have an interest in this game. If you want the Steelers to need to win in week 17 so Baltimore can crush their dreams, the Steelers have to win tonight. If you want to see the Steelers collapse for the second consecutive year to miss the postseason, rooting for the Bills is going to be easy,. It really depends on your perspective here.

The Ravens have another game against the Steelers in the final week of the regular season. The Ravens could easily draw either the Steelers or the Bills in the playoffs. Baltimore got narrow wins against both opponents this season. It is worth noting that the overtime win in Pittsburgh came before Baltimore got on a roll.

The Ravens don’t play but their fans have plenty to root for today. Enjoy your football Sunday ladies and gentlemen.
