Slow down Derrick Henry:

Just as Baltimore’s offense goes through the run, so does Tennessee’s. The difference between the two is the Titans have a Hulk in Derrick Henry, who just led the league in rushing yards. Stopping him isn’t very likely, so the Ravens will just need to find a way to slow him down.

Henry’s downhill style of running is how Tennessee has so much offensive success. Henry simply gets better as the game progresses and is the equivalent of a dominant closing pitcher once the fourth quarter rolls around. Simply put, he’s a back-breaker.

The team went 7-3 to end the season on the back of Henry and play-action set up via the run. Ryan Tannehill absolutely came alive for this team thanks to so little pressure on him. Opposing teams were too busy trying to stop Henry that they allowed Tannehill to throw the ball effectively to a solid host of receivers.

For the Baltimore Ravens fifth ranked run defense, they’ll certainly have their work cut out for them in slowing down Derrick Henry.
