Baltimore Ravens:

The Baltimore Ravens are one of the biggest winners of the 2020 offseason and look primed to win their third-straight AFC North title. The offense that set the NFL record for rushing yards in a single-season is back and the defense has some new toys to play with; particularly in defensive end Calais Campbell.

Campbell has spent the last three seasons of his career tearing up opposing offensive lines for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Campbell has also made the Pro Bowl each of the last three seasons while accumulating 21.5 sacks over that span. The Ravens acquired Campbell for just a 2020 fifth-round draft choice and will pair him up with Matt Judon to revitalize the team’s lackluster pass rush.

Michael Brockers was initially brought in by the Ravens as well before a failed physical caused the team to void the contract. Baltimore rebounded by signing Derek Wolfe to a cheaper deal. The team capped off their defensive investments by bringing back both Jimmy Smith and Anthony Levine to their loaded secondary. The defense that wasn’t good enough in 2019 looks completely retooled and ready to roll for 2020.

The inside linebacker spot still needs work, but it’s likely the team addresses it in the 2020 NFL Draft with a guy like Kenneth Murray or Malik Harrison. Considering the offense is already in great shape, getting this defense to match up with the former has Baltimore looking as deadly as any other team in the league.

The AFC North will be the Baltimore Ravens to lose, but this offseason has us thinking they want much more than that in 2020.
