The Baltimore Ravens look stack going into 2020 with 12 Pro Bowlers from 2019 on the current roster. Here are three guys who could get their first in 2020.

Marquise Brown:

Marquise Brown is undoubtedly the Baltimore Ravens top candidate to become a Pro Bowler in 2020. The Ravens have never had a wide receiver make the Pro Bowl outside of special teams, but Brown will look to change that narrative.

As a rookie, the man better known as “Hollywood” put on a show throughout the season despite his menial 584-yards receiving. Brown tied a franchise-record seven touchdowns receptions as a rookie and showed off terrific hands and the speed to beat defenses over-the-top. To make this all the more impressive, Brown accomplished this with screws in his foot and playing at less than 100% health. The screws have since been removed this offseason and the sky seems to be the limit for what Brown can do in year two.

We should fully expect Brown to take the next step in 2020 and be perhaps a 1,000-yard receiver and double-digit touchdown candidate. With the rapport he’s been building with Lamar Jackson, this should definitely be the case.

Chuck Clark:

If Chuck Clark goes on to become a Pro Bowler for Baltimore in 2020 that would be simply unfair to the rest of the NFL. The Ravens already have three Pro Bowlers in their secondary in the forms of Earl Thomas, Marlon Humphrey, and Marcus Peters. The team also has high-end contributors in Jimmy Smith and Tavon Young. Clark has found a way to stand out with these guys, but for him to earn Pro Bowl honors would be unbelievable.

Clark, a former sixth-round pick from Virginia Tech in 2017, took over the starting strong safety gig after Tony Jefferson suffered a season-ending knee injury early in 2019. Clark wound up leading the Ravens in tackles and took over as the full-time starter due to his play. The next step for him is to become a top-end player, something that he could easily accomplish.

Should Clark become that caliber player, there’s no telling how good this year’s edition of the defense could be. Clark will play a much bigger role than anticipated and Baltimore will reap the benefits big time.

Patrick Queen:

Alright, this one is admittedly cheating a little bit considering Patrick Queen is a rookie, but he nonetheless could come out with guns blazing.

Queen was a first-round draft choice for a reason. His sideline-to-sideline speed is remarkable, as are his coverage instincts. Queen immediately steps into Baltimore’s linebacking corps as the best pass coverage guy they have. Queen also has some serious upside in the run game, where his big defensive line will keep his jersey clean and allow him to make plays in the backfield consistently.

Not only should Queen be considered not only a Pro Bowl candidate for the Baltimore Ravens but also a potential Defensive Rookie of the Year player. Queen will rack up good tackle numbers while also putting himself in play to force turnovers. Don’t be surprised to see him dominate early in his career and make the Pro Bowl as a rookie.
