The Bad:

There are some unfair ratings in this game. Chuck Clark may be the most underrated player on this list. Clark has a 72 in tackling, which is just silly. Yes, Clark had a hard time with Derrick Henry in that playoff game, but who didn’t? On a regular basis Clark is a solid tackler. If I had to give him a tackle grade it would be about an 85. Can he get beat by a physical running back? Sure, but he brings his guy down almost every time.

He has a 75 in pursuit and a 76 in play recognition. The one thing you always hear about Clark is that he has a high football IQ and he’s a high motor player. One argument consistently made against trading for Jamal Adams is that Clark could prove to be a poor man’s version of Adams. He’s not as dynamic however he’s a strong starting caliber player.

Bradley Bozeman is the most underrated player on this list. I say this as a pundit that Bozeman had to win over. He’s played well. He was a starter for a Ravens offensive line that just broke the single season rushing record. Bozeman is a 72? He has to be at least an 80. Matt Skura is an overall 73. Patrick Mekari, who filled in for Skura without much of a hitch is a 63. Did the Ravens offensive line stink last year? Did I watch a different season of football than the people who made this game? How is it possible that the only offensive linemen rated 80 or higher are the offensive tackles and D.J. Fluker? I’m a little nervous about replacing Marshal Yanda, while EA Sports is downright terrified of that task.

I complain every year that Justin Tucker is only rated in the high 80’s. That’s insane. He’s the best kicker in the NFL and somehow even the best kicker can’t get a 90 rating. Like I said though, I make the complaint every year. Last year I went on a rant about it. This year that’s all I will say.
