6. Corey Graham:

Corey Graham is one of the most underrated players in Ravens history. The top highlight of Graham’s career with the Ravens is of course having two interceptions and a touchdown against the Denver Broncos in the best playoff game there has ever been. I’m not saying arguably, it’s not up for debate. Any way, Graham was good. After the 2013 season Graham went on to play for the Buffalo Bills. Graham was a solid defensive back who started at both cornerback and safety. Graham ended up playing in the Super Bowl, in his last season, with the Eagles.

Graham was never a superstar and his only Pro Bowl appearance came the year before he signed with the Ravens. Graham may have had his most impacting seasons in Baltimore though and his versatility would have been nice to keep around. Graham had the ability to play anywhere in the secondary, really. He could be an outside corner, a slot corner or even a safety. He was a rock solid player and I remember being a fan that wasn’t thrilled to see him go.

Honorable mentions:

Bart Scott: When Bart Scott went to the New York Jets the Ravens really lost a good player. It’s actually funny how history repeated itself with C.J. Mosley in free agency. Scott is easily a top 10 linebacker in Ravens history and he was a true “Play like a Raven” kind of player.

Matt Birk: Three solid years at the center position. The Ravens still haven’t come close to getting a center as good as Birk. It’s hard to imagine the Ravens winning a Super Bowl without the calming influence that Birk was for the offensive line. He was a center that made a lot of things work up front. More Birk would have been nice.

Adalius Thomas: It was especially difficult to see Thomas go to the New England Patriots. Thomas was a great player and his versatility on defense was a staple of the Ravens defense for a few years. Thomas didn’t seem to fit the same way in New England but he was still solid for them. In the end he was perfect for Baltimore and may have had a better end of his  if he had stayed.
