Wide Receivers

Analysis– Last season the receivers in this game took a back seat as this was a run heavy game. Houston’s trio of Keke Coutee, Hopkins, and Kenny Stills is no more and now is Randall Cobb, Brandin Cooks, and Will Fuller. The Ravens return with Miles Boykin, Hollywood, Willie Snead, as well as a couple of rookies. Both of these groups will be crucial to their teams success this season and this game will be a good test for each unit.

Although this game will probably be another game filled with running, these receivers will be crucial to who dominates the ball and is able to score. Coming off a season with many of these guys disappointing, looks for a big play from each side as well as some big third down receptions throughout the game. The young receivers in this game and their connections with their Quarterbacks will be tested in this match up.

The Ravens cornerbacks are among the best in the NFL and our certain to hamper production for these receivers similar to how they rendered Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. useless last week for the Browns. Texan corners Bradley Roby and Vernon Hargeraves will have their hands full with a versatile set of receivers but are a huge upgrade compared to the secondary that allowed four touchdowns last season.

Prediction:

Hollywood Brown– Six receptions, 95 receiving yards, one touchdown = 21.5 Fantasy points

Miles Boykin– Three receptions, 35 yards = 6.5 Fantasy points

Willie Snead– Four receptions, 30 yards = Seven Fantasy points

Randall Cobb– One reception, 15 yards = 2.5 Fantasy points

Brandin Cooks– Five receptions, 40 yards = Nine Fantasy points

Will Fuller– Eight receptions, 65 yards, one touchdown = 20.5 Fantasy points
