The Baltimore Ravens took care of business. Here is the good, the bad and the ugly. We’ll start with the good:

The good news is that the pass rush started to actually operate for the Baltimore Ravens in this game. Matt Judon had a couple sacks and was a delivered a lot of pressure. It was certainly encouraging to see the player getting paid handsomely as a the franchise player make an impact in the game.  Jaylon Ferguson got a fourth quarter sack with Washington in the red zone. Washington did not take a ton of shot down the field, but when they did Dwayne Haskins faced pressure in his face. The Ravens only gave up 17 points in this game. They won the contest convincingly. The defense dealt with some nickel and dime passing from The Football Team. They didn’t give up a lot of big plays and the game win was at no point in question.

Lamar Jackson had a really flashy running touchdown where he finally broke a long one like we saw last year. Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews had bounce back games, both having big receptions for their MVP quarterback. Willie Snead didn’t do a lot, but he caught a low hanging pass on a third and long with Baltimore deep in their own territory. The main thing here is that the main duo is back to productivity.

Mark Ingram got back on track with a touchdowns. Gus Edwards was impressive as he always is as a downhill runner, and the run game seemed to pick up in the fourth quarter.

Marlon Humphrey made a big play early in the game getting a forced fumble. He yanked the ball out and created a turnover that was helpful for the Ravens to take command of the game. Humphrey’s ability to force fumbles has always been a big part of his game, a game that got him a contract extension worth close to a 100 million dollars. Ronnie Stanley missing the game certainly isn’t something you want to see. That being said, Orlando Brown Jr. was rock solid at left tackle, something we weren’t sure he could do so seamlessly. Other than a false start penalty, Brown Jr. it was a big performance from the big man.
