It may not have been the blowout fans expected, but the Baltimore Ravens took care of business against the Washington Football Team. It’s game ball time.

Lamar Jackson:

Game stats: 14/21 COMP/ATT, 193-yards, 2/1 TD/INT, seven carries, 53-yards, one touchdown

Talk about a rebound game. Lamar Jackson was spectacular in the Baltimore Ravens win and kept the offense rolling through the air and on the ground. Jackson was able to hook back up with his favorite targets, Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews, this week. The latter of the two caught both of Jackson’s touchdowns. Jackson also tallied 53-yards as a runner, including a 50-yard touchdown run. It was simply a backbreaking effort from “Action” Jackson.

Jackson’s performance wasn’t without some warts though, as he tossed his first interception of the season on a not-so-great throw to the outside hash intended for Miles Boykin. Asides from that throw and a couple of others, Jackson looked good. It was nice to see him return to form after an abysmal performance the previous week to the Kansas City Chiefs.

While he may not be playing at an MVP level, Jackson is still leading this offense to wins and has Baltimore just a half-game back for the AFC North crown. Jackson claims another game ball for his stellar day.

Patrick Queen:

More from Ebony Bird

Game stats: 12 tackles (nine solos), three TFLs

Patrick Queen didn’t have his best game vs. the Chiefs and was actually benched for a series for his lackluster performance, but boy oh boy did he shine vs. the Washington Football Team.

Queen was flying around the field and making plays at every level. Queen was comfortable in coverage and was a force against the run, recording three TFLs on the day. It wasn’t just Queen’s best statistical output to this point in his career, but it was also his overall best performance as a defender. The best may be yet to come.

If Queen keeps doing what he’s doing, he will be a finalist for Defensive Rookie of the Year and could place his name inside the top-ten inside linebackers in football. For now, he’ll take home another game ball.

Marlon Humphrey:

Game stats: nine tackles, one forced fumble, one pass deflection

Marlon Humphrey showed the NFL that the Ravens made the right financial decision with him with one of his finest games in his still-young career.

Over the course of 60 minutes, Humphrey was on lockdown. Dwayne Haskins was hesitant to go Humphrey’s direction with the football. Don’t let Haskins’s box score fool you, he was not a fan of throwing at Humphrey. J.D. McKissic had the ball stripped from Humphrey that was scooped up by Marcus Peters and wound up resulting in a drive that gave Baltimore a lead it would not surrender for the remainder of the game. It was an all-around studly performance from the rich cornerback.

Humphrey once again showed the league that he is one of the best defensive backs in the game. He proved he’s worth every penny of his new deal and secures himself our final game ball.
