As the Baltimore Ravens get set to face the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday Night Football, we make 3 bold predictions for the matchup.

Baltimore records six sacks:

The Dallas Cowboys are unbelievably thin on the offensive line right now. The Cowboys have surrendered 31 sacks on the year and are employing career backups across the board. Zack Martin and Cameron Irving are expected to miss multiple weeks, per ESPN, leaving the team on its last legs across the entire line. The Baltimore Ravens have to be excited about this.

Baltimore blitzes more than most teams, leading the league with a 43.7% blitz rate. While the team has modest results because of it, accumulating 27 sacks on the year, it’s one of the reasons the defense is one of the best in the league. This mismatch of a beaten up offensive line against a blitz-happy defense is tantalizing for the Ravens.

Guys like Yannick Ngakoue and Matt Judon have to be excited about this huge opportunity in front of them to pad their stats. Others like Patrick Queen and Derek Wolfe could also get in on the fun. All in all, look for this pass rush to T-off and get after Andy Dalton more than once.

Dez Bryant has 70-yards and a touchdown against his former team:

Dez Bryant hasn’t been revolutionary for the Ravens thus far, but he has made the competition at wide receiver a lot more competitive. Guys like Marquise Brown and Miles Boykin have realized they need to step their game up or see fewer snaps. It’s been far more of an impact on the young guys rather than on the stat sheet.

That is going to change against the former-All-Pro’s former team.

While Bryant has gone on record to say there are no hard feelings towards his old team, he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t excited to play them. Against a defense that is certainly suspect, Bryant could find some major success. For one, Lamar Jackson will be back in the fold offensively and will give Bryant plenty of looks. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see some manufactured targets for Bryant if nothing more than for the sake of having a good stat line against the Cowboys.

I have a feeling Bryant is going to see a lion’s share of targets and plenty of opportunities to impress. While I don’t see him exploding for some massive Fantasy Football game the way he once could, I do think he’ll get into the endzone. Look for Bryant to have his best game in a few years tonight.

Lamar Jackson totals 300-yards of offense and three touchdowns:

Welcome back, Lamar Jackson! Ravens Flock has missed you.

Jackson was obviously absent last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers due to COVID-19 in a game that Baltimore might’ve won had they had Jackson. Regardless, he’s back now and he should be hungrier than ever. Jackson has a lot to prove to his doubters with the Ravens currently sitting out of the playoff picture and can absolutely romp this Cowboys team.

Entering tonight, Dallas is the 32nd ranked team against the run while Baltimore enters as the second-best rushing team. This bodes well for the game’s best dual-threat quarterback. Jackson will absolutely feast as a runner and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him hit the century mark.

Where everyone will be sleeping will be in the passing game. The Ravens have the league’s 31st ranked passing attack, but that hardly has to do with Jackson. I believe that Jackson can light up the box score while the Cowboys defense tries to slow him down as a runner. I already predicted Dez Bryant to have a nice outing, but I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Marquise Brown also have a good day.

Jackson should be a busy man against Dallas, so don’t be surprised when he has one of his best games of the 2020 season. Here’s hoping all his doubters tune in tonight.

Next. Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys: What makes this game interesting. dark

All in all, this is a “must-win” game tonight despite the Dallas Cowboys being a suspect team. Look for the Baltimore Ravens to get back into the win column and hopefully get their season back on track for a late playoff push.

Final score prediction: Ravens 27 Cowboys 14
