Cleveland Browns: Terrace Marshall Jr., Wide Receiver (LSU)

The Cleveland Browns have a fairly stacked team. They should have a shot to win the AFC North next season, and they should remain a playoff team one way or another. The Browns are in a position where they can really afford to spoil themselves with a big-time play-maker. That’s what Terrace Marshall could be for the Browns. What’s worse is it would take a really solid option away from the Ravens.

The idea of having to defend an offense with Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, and Marshall Jr. is an idea that could put a lot of pressure on the Baltimore secondary. Nickel cornerback is a concern for the Ravens. Jimmy Smith is getting near the end of his illustrious career and he has always been a little injury-prone. Speaking of injury-prone, can Tavon Young stay on the field?

The Browns also have a lot of talent at the tight end position. Austin Hooper and Harrison Bryant are weapons that can always make a difference. Picking the Ravens apart may be their plan.

The Browns pick one spot ahead of the Ravens. IF Marshall Jr. is in the Ravens’ plans (and he could be), the Browns could mess with Eric DeCosta and company.

The last time the Ravens and the Browns played it was a 47-42 game of the ages. It was a far cry from the 38-6 domination the Ravens had in the 2020 season opener. That shootout in Cleveland felt like the start of a new dynamic in this rivalry. It was both teams fighting to be the big dog in the AFC North’s future. That wasn’t the last time Lamar Jackson‘s Ravens will have to run up the score to beat Baker Mayfield’s Browns.
