The Baltimore Ravens might have struck gold with quarterback Tyler Huntley. At least, that’s how it seems after his breakout performance against the Green Bay Packers in Week 15.

Huntley made his second career NFL start in place of the injured Lamar Jackson on Sunday and put together a fantastic showing finishing 28-of-40 for 215 yards and two touchdowns while adding 73 yards and another two scores on the ground.

No Ravens quarterback had ever rushed for two touchdowns and thrown two touchdowns in a game before. No, not even Jackson.

Huntley’s performance took the NFL world by storm and opened a lot of eyes around the league. Suddenly, the former Utah standout has gone from undrafted free agent fighting for a roster spot to a bonafide NFL quarterback.

He’s already established himself as a capable backup, but could he be more? It’s not a crazy notion and some have floated the idea around in the aftermath of Sunday’s game.

Now, it should be noted that the most likely outcome is that the Ravens retain Huntley in the offseason. Unless some team is willing to give up significant draft capital, it’s unlikely the Ravens actually trade him.

And with such a small sample size, it’s also unlikely that too many teams will be seriously interested. But a call never hurts. And the eight teams we’re going to talk about in this article could absolutely give the Ravens a call about Huntley in the offseason.

Let’s take a look at some teams that could use Tyler Huntley on their roster in 2022.
