The Baltimore Ravens playoff odds suddenly look a lot more promising than they did at the beginning of the day. Don’t look now but the Indianapolis Colts are on upset alert.

At the start of the second half, the Colts are shockingly trailing the two-win Jacksonville Jaguars by a score of 13-3 with rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence tearing it up at EverBank Field.

The Colts are one of three teams the Ravens need to lose/tie which, if coupled with a Ravens win, would put Baltimore in the postseason.

As for the Ravens themselves, they’re currently tied 3-3 with the Pittsburgh Steelers at the half in a game in which neither offense seems to want to do much of anything.

But all eyes are on the Jaguars game. The Colts are officially on upset alert.

The Ravens could benefit greatly from a Colts loss

Aside from the Colts losing, the Ravens also need the Los Angeles Chargers to lose to the Las Vegas Raiders and the Miami Dolphins to lose to or tie the New England Patriots.

The Jaguars/Colts game is the only one currently on in the 1 p.m. window, aside from the Ravens’ game. With the Colts on the verge of choking away a playoff spot, they desperately need to turn things around.

The same has to be said for the Ravens, though. It would be an absolute shame if the Colts were to lose, only for Baltimore to fall short against their archrivals who are also playing for a playoff spot as well.

The Ravens’ playoff chances seemed slim entering the day. But all of a sudden, they actually look feasible. Keep watching that scoreboard.
