The Baltimore Ravens will go into the offseason needing to address a variety of positions. And with very little cap space and a number of important players set to hit the open market, they’ll have their work cut out for them.

While the team will undoubtedly look to bolster their offensive line and secondary, especially if players like Bradley Bozeman, Anthony Averett, and DeShon Elliott depart in free agency, another position group that must be addressed is the defensive line.

Right now, it’s very hard to project how the Ravens defensive line will look in 2022. Three of their key contributors from this past season will be free agents while the remaining group has its share of question marks too.

Will the likes of Brandon Williams, Calais Campbell, and Justin Ellis be brought back? Will any of them retire? And if they are brought back, just how effective are they at this stage?

Those are the questions the Ravens will have to answer this offseason.

Expect the Ravens to target some younger defensive linemen in the 2022 NFL Draft, but that doesn’t mean they can’t still turn to the free-agent market as well.

Fron younger players testing free agency for the first time to veterans who are looking to play out the final years of their career, let’s take a look at Akiem Hicks and five other defensive linemen the Ravens could target in free agency.
