The Baltimore Ravens held their first practice of OTAs open to the media on Wednesday, officially marking the beginning of preseason on-field workouts.

The most controversial storyline is Lamar Jackson’s noted absence from OTAs amid his contract dispute, but Ravens players have since come out to support the quarterback in his decision to opt-out.

Of course, having your star quarterback get as many reps with the team as possible is the ideal scenario, yet Jackson no doubt has his reasons for not participating and will step onto the field when ready.
