4 most likable players on the Ravens roster in 2022
By Kristen Wong
1. Justin Tucker, K, Ravens
Picture this: the Ravens are setting up for a potential game-winning field goal in the last seconds of a game. Fans nervously bite their nails as they await either pure bliss or pure heartbreak, and then Justin Tucker steps onto the field. A collective sigh of relief.
Does any Ravens player make you smile more than Justin Tucker?
The lovable kicker has cemented his place in Ravens history after breaking numerous records throughout his decade-long career and is already considered one of the greatest of all time at his position.
He’s a five-time Pro Bowler, a five-time first-team All-Pro, and has made 91 percent of his field-goal attempts, not to mention he led the league last season in field goal completion percentage (94.6) and hit 100 percent of his point-after attempts.
Simply put, Tucker is the definition of “clutch,” and his calm and composed presence on the field makes him one of the most endearing members of the team.
No fan has ever looked at Tucker and shook his head in disappointment or scorn. The kicker position may not receive much recognition or acclaim in the league, but Tucker stands out as a truly special character forever stitched into the fabric of the Ravens’ franchise.
Off the field, Tucker continues to impress crowds as a classically trained bass-baritone who enjoys singing opera.
Simply incredible. You can’t help but love the guy.
Some honorable mentions for this list: Ronnie Stanley, Chuck Clark, and head coach John Harbaugh. Baltimore will enter the 2022 season with a squad that shows just as much heart and character as it does talent, and that’s why we’re proud to be Ravens fans.
