The Baltimore Ravens have a very winnable matchup in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans. At least, it should be. These can always be trap games.
And it will turn into a tight contest if the Ravens don’t fix many of the areas that have plagued them thus far. There have been significant problems in the trenches, and the defense as a whole has been tough to watch.
For these three players, they can’t afford to hit a wall in Sunday’s game.
3 Baltimore Ravens players who must perform well in Week 4 vs. Tennessee Titans
Vega Ioane
If you could guarantee one player would perform well in Week 4, most Ravens fans would want that to be Vega Ioane. He’s being forced into the center role after Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic landed on IR. It’s an unusual spot for Ioane, but it’s one he’s ready to attack.
Outside of the handful of snaps in Baltimore’s Week 3 win and 17 snaps in college, center is almost brand-new for Ioane. Things could look really bad. Not just for him; if his snaps aren’t spot on and the communication isn’t up to par, the offense could quickly look out of sorts.
Thankfully, Ioane is coming off the best game of his NFL career blocking-wise. His snaps were on-target enough, although some were a bit low. If he can hold his own against Jeffery Simmons and company, and look the part as a center, the Ravens will be in a really good spot.
Andrew Vorhees
On the topic of the offensive line, let’s talk about the man sliding into Ioane’s spot: Andrew Vorhees. Vorhees is expected to be the right guard on Sunday.
Vorhees has been bad, horrendous, abysmal. Any synonym you want to use, Vorhees has been that. After a poor showing in 2025, most thought the 27-year-old wouldn’t be on the starting offensive line again. Well, he’s back. Can he write a different story in 2026?
The Ravens need him to look like a different person. One, to make life easier for Ioane, and two, to keep Lamar Jackson out of harm’s way. Last season, Vorhees allowed 28 pressures, 8 QB hits, and 3 sacks. That can’t happen again. Especially with the offensive line looking the way it has three weeks into the year.
If he continues to look unstartable, Vorhees will be paving his own way out of Charm City.
Malaki Starks
The murmurings about Malaki Starks’ performance are getting louder and louder. His Pro Football Focus grade currently sits at an extremely underwhelming 45.4. That’s 70th among 83 qualifying safeties.
There isn’t much of a reason for Starks to have trouble again against the Titans. Sure, Carnell Tate is an uber-talented first-round rookie wideout, and Wan’Dale Robinson is ultra-slippery in the open field.
However, neither is a serious threat up to this point in the year, and Starks is a former first-round pick himself. He should be able to help handle Tennessee’s 30th-ranked passing attack no problem.
If Starks stumbles, though, things could quickly look dreary for him. He’s been that bad early on, and honestly, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if Keondre Jackson starts breathing down his neck for snaps sometime soon. The lapses in coverage and missed tackles are becoming inexcusable.
