4 trade targets Ravens should pursue after missing out on Quenton Nelson

The Baltimore Ravens are in a championship window, and they know it. They've already shown that they're willing to leverage their future to improve their current roster, sending a second-round pick away to bring Cam Jurgens in. But if he wants to make a push for a Super Bowl, general manager Eric DeCosta shouldn't be finished.

The trade market is heating up ahead of the November 10th deadline. Quenton Nelson, a player who could have helped the Ravens, has already been dealt, along with DeForest Buckner.

Those two targets may be off the board already, but there are still plenty of trade candidates that should draw Baltimore's interest. These four should be near the top of the list.

4 Baltimore Ravens trade targets with deadline looming

Landon Dickerson, G, Eagles

Nelson may not have been Baltimore-bound, but the idea behind the connection wasn't unfounded. Current starting left guard John Simpson has struggled this season, especially in pass protection. He's on track to allow more than 30 pressures this season, and he isn't making a noticeable impact in the running game.

Landon Dickerson is the best remaining left guard who is likely to be available via trade. The Philadelphia Eagles should be deadline sellers and might be willing to trade the veteran guard at a discount as they kick off a potential rebuild.

If the Ravens want to make a splash and solidify their offensive line, they should be looking in Dickerson's direction.

Donte Jackson, CB, Chargers

Donte Jackson is certainly a less-coveted target than Dickerson, but he could provide significant value to Jesse Minter's defense. Marlon Humphrey isn't the Pro Bowl cornerback he once was. He had one of his worst games in years against the Cincinnati Bengals, but Baltimore doesn't have many other options on the boundary.

For the cost of a late-round pick, Jackson could at least add some depth behind Humphrey and Nate Wiggins. He's an experienced cornerback who played for Minter with the Los Angeles Chargers last season.

Josh Downs, WR, Colts

Nelson and Buckner weren't the last of the Indianapolis Colts' trade chips. Wide receiver Josh Downs has now requested to be moved, and he could be a perfect fit for the Ravens. He's an excellent route runner who works primarily out of the slot. At the very least, he could give Lamar Jackson another reliable option in the passing game.

The Ravens may be hesitant to give up a mid-round pick for Downs after already sending away their second-rounder, but this is a player worth betting on.

Riq Woolen, CB, Eagles

Circling back to cornerbacks, and to the Eagles, Riq Woolen could be the perfect rental trade for the Ravens to make. He's a capable starter on the outside, but he's on a one-year contract, and Philadelphia isn't likely to bring him back in the offseason.

Adding Woolen would give Minter the option to bench Humphrey if he can't turn things around in the coming weeks. Even if he doesn't become a full-time starter immediately, he would give the Ravens insurance at cornerback that they don't currently have.
