Despite the severely underwhelming season, the Baltimore Ravens have their fair share of Pro Bowlers. When the rosters were announced on Tuesday, the Ravens learned that six of their players earned the honor. That ties them with the Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco for the most representatives.

Those going to the Pro Bowl this year for Baltimore include fullback Patrick Ricard (sixth), wide receiver Zay Flowers (second), center Tyler Linderbaum (third), linebacker Roquan Smith (fourth), safety Kyle Hamilton (third), and punter Jordan Stout (first).

While the Ravens are the most disappointing team in the NFL this year, each of those six players was deserving of Pro Bowl consideration. In a few of their cases, they also could not have chosen a better time to have a Pro Bowl-worthy season.

Ravens’ Pro Bowlers put squeeze on cap situation

Zay Flowers set to become rich with hefty fifth-year option

Flowers continues to get better. This year marks his second-straight Pro Bowl in just his third NFL season. Through 16 weeks, he has tallied 78 receptions, 1,043 yards, and three total touchdowns. He proved himself as a legitimate threat through the air this year and should be a piece Baltimore looks to keep around for the foreseeable future.

It will be hard to keep Flowers around, though. With two Pro Bowl nods already to his name, his fifth-year option skyrockets from just over $24 million to $28 million. With an already stacked cast of players set to hit free agency over the next couple of seasons, General Manager Eric DeCosta will have to confront a tough cap situation.

Flowers is growing into a true number-one wide receiver, but still has to prove himself worthy of that new price tag.

Several Ravens earn Pro Bowl nod in contract year

For Ricard, Linderbaum, and Stout, they may have helped themselves out for this upcoming offseason. Each of them is in a contract year, which should result in their next contracts seeing a slight increase.

For Ricard and Linderbaum, everyone knows the type of player they are. Ricard is going to his sixth Pro Bowl and is a central piece to the Ravens’ offense, specifically their dangerous rushing attack. In Linderbaum’s case, he has been considered a top-two center in football for a few years now. A third straight Pro Bowl nod should continue to boost his stock heading into free agency, and Baltimore will likely make him the NFL’s highest-paid center for his efforts.

Stout is the big name here. Sure, he is just a punter, but he has officially proved himself as a franchise player. After three inconsistent seasons, 2025 has been his best showing, and he will rightfully be representing the AFC in the Pro Bowl.

These honors will have a significant impact on the cap situation, and the players have certainly driven up their prices.
